CAPE TOWN – Cape Town City have announced the signing of Bafana Bafana midfielder Thulani Serero.
The 34-year-old Soweto born was on Thursday unveiled as the new Citizen’s addition.
Earning over 40 caps for the South African national team, Serero spent several years overseas playing for clubs such as AFC Ajax, Vitesse, Al Jazira Club and recently was with the United Arab Emirates’ outfit Khor Fakkan Club.
Serero is no stranger to playing in the Mother City, he played for Ajax Cape Town from 2008 to 2011, spending his youth days through to the first team at Ikamva making over 50 appearances for the Urban Warriors.
He returned to the country with a wealth of experience as he set out to help City in the Betway Premiership.
